Well, the Oilers had to win sooner or later.

I just checked the standings and the win the Oilers got tonight wasn't in bold. Apparently one win is not bold enough.

How was Drouin?

I watched two periods and though he looked pretty good. He has a ton of speed and seemed to get himself open a lot. Definitely looks like a rookie, though. Looked like he was trying to do a lot himself and not quite in sync with the system yet. He was holding onto the puck a tick or two too long and running himself out of options. I saw that a few times.

Figured. Might take him a month or so to get up to snuff, but I hope they keep him around. Anybody who can score an extra goal or two in the 4 or 5 games they play against the Leafs this season is fine by me. :suds:

He definitely started to look more comfortable as time went on. And he was kind of dropped into the lineup. A few practices with regular linemates and he'll take off.
