Oh sure, I'm not saying that I couldn't imagine Leiweke saying that. But that's also exactly the kind of situation you're looking for when you're looking to float some bullshit, isn't it? The story "works" because it fits the image of Leiweke, so you can put it out there without any real proof.

Yep agreed on all counts - I think Tim Leiweke is the type who would have said no but I'm not sure that he said that it would be something that costs Dean Lombardi's job

It cracks me up that he said that he "fixed" the Raptors when all he seems to have really done is stay out of the way and let Ujiri do the job that he was hired to do before Leiweke even joined the organization.

That's how he fixed the Kings. Stay out of the way and let someone with an IQ do their job. Not a bad idea, just don't take too much credit for keeping your mouth shut.
