The US Supreme Court has declined to hear a copyright case against the band, ending a yearslong legal dispute. The Led Zeppelin case has had a wide impact on other musicians facing their own copyright claims.

I always thought the Stairway plagiarism claim was the weakest plagiarism claim against them. They were ripoff artists though.. Dazed and Confused being the most egregious example. The Taurus intro is similar but not the same and there is soo much more to Stairway. Without the slow build and crunching hard rock final section, Stairway would have been just another tune.

This was kinda horseshit. Someone suing on a dead guys's behalf... this video destroys the claim, half a dozen songs use a similar progression..that descending bass note pattern was a common songwriting cliche in jazz early rock music.
