I must admit, Lebrons flopping has amused me over the last decade or so. Even now that he's a Laker I gotta chuckle.

Hell, he's probably in the top 5 all time when it comes to flopping but nowhere near as bad as some others.
So top 5 means he's only not as bad as 4 others....

Pretty much. I still hold at least Vlade and D-Fish above him. Probably some others too

Vlade and Fisher were really good at it though.

Harden is really good too.

LeBron is terrible at it. Why he gets made fun of. Also why he doesn’t get to the free throw line as much as he probably should.

I don't blame Lebron for embellishing. He doesn't get calls because he absorbs a lot of contact without getting redirected (a la Shaq), so you do what's necessary to try to open ref's eyes.

Honestly, as long as it works, I don't blame any player for embellishing. The goal is to win games. If embellishing can fool the ref and get the guy a call that helps his team win, he's done his job.

Besides that Vlad Divac, Manu Ginobili and Derek Fishers were champion floppers ever

Vlade was the OG flopper. He brought it to the league.

Manu was a Hall of Fame level flopper.

But D-Fish was the GOAT of all floppers. If I were an NBA head coach, I would seriously consider bringing him in as a consultant to teach my team how to flop correctly. lol

Agreed - I remember seeing Fisher get knocked a lot, and then they showed a close up and when I saw the biceps on his arm, I became convinced absolutely no one could knock him down if he decided to stand his ground - lol

Anderson Varejao was a HOF caliber flopper. Here's a pic of him falling to the groud with no contact.

Jimmy Butler's no flopper. But that game a couple of week ago when he was looking for a foul was hilarious.

I take issue when it becomes too frequent (coughJamesHardencough)

True.

Imo, there are 2 things that made D-Fish such a great flopper. He took enough real charges that he had benefit of the doubt from the refs and he was pretty selective about when he did it.

Harden flops during warmups. lol

...and more on offense than on defense. Curry was flopping on jump shots last night. Sad.
