The Beatles and Led Zep.
I kind of figured you had to be there to get the Beatles, they had a few great songs but usually I flipped the dial when they came on the radio. I tend to like Harrison's stuff and Lennon had some good trippy songs like Come Together and Revolution. Paul I can do without....my favorite vocal might be Ringo on With A Little Help!

Led Zep really hit the spot with Whole Lotta Love, but most of their stuff was just kinda meh for me and Stairway put me to sleep. Probably just heard them too much and it would have been way cool to see them live!
Never thought Page was a great guitarist, although he could make lots of funny noises like the guy in Rage Against The Machine. Great rhythm section like RATM.

I always recognized that they obviously have some appeal, because you can't mention you don't care for them without some whiny little bitch reacting like an asshole.

Most fans of the band can acknowledge that not everyone has to like what they like and move on.
