All we know at this point is that Winnipeg will be in the Western Conference next season...Detroit probably wants to move to the Eastern Conference, but the league knows they're a great draw when the Wings go on the road. Stay tuned.

:ss: Well that's going to be one less playoff spot available starting next season. If the Wings move to the East just don't put them in the Atlantic. It's already a brutallly tough division. Adding the Wings would be OVERKILL!!

I'd rather move Minnesota to the Central and throw Winnipeg into the Northwest.

I think they should put the Capitals with the Wings, Hawks, Blues & Wild. They have no business being in the Southeast division.

The biggest problem I see with that is where do you put the Kings & Rangers? In the Gretzky or Dionne division?
