Here are the latest power rankings, and which sources have them ranked. Bleeding Green Nation thinks we're as high as 5th, or 6th. NBC Sports have us at 18th!! That is ridiculous! How would you rank us?

No one in the NFC would have stopped us if Clowney didn't injure Wentz on purpose.

All we did was get better.

I like our chances against the Chiefs any time. Niners had their chances and blew it.

Yeah, for all the accolades that Kyle Shanahan gets (and some are valid), he blew the SB against the "Chefs" when he stopped trying to score, and got conservative, same as he did when he was in Atlanta when they blew the game v.s N.E.

Yeah I can see that. I think after the first 4 you can pretty much pick 5-15 out of a hat. It will come down to who gets bounces and who can stay healthy as usual.

I think it is too early to tell but if all the moves we made work out then the Eagles should at a minimum be SuperBowl Contenders and Top 3 in the NFC.

Defensively the secondary was putrid. I have been a big Schwartz hater in this regard because I felt he did nothing to compensate for the secondary issues. Then last year when we got some player back I noticed that we had player seemingly in position to make plays but their technique was just horrible so I believe a lot of bad secondary play could be placed on the position coach. Schwartz is the DC and he should have caught that.

If the receiving upgrades work out the Eagles will have one the best and most dangerous offenses in the NFL. Wentz had a fantastic year and proved that he is an Elite QB. The only QB in NFL history that threw for 4000 yards and not have a receiver get 500 yards. I am sure the haters will say that he did it against bad teams. I will say this. I think this past season the Eagles may have had the worst receiving core in the history of the NFL thanks to injuries and yet Wentz still put up great numbers.
