The Dodgers have the best run differential in MLB and the Rangers aren't exactly coming in hot. Calhoun is a former Dodger so I imagine he might have a good showing. Leaving LaLaLand with 1 win would be an achievement.

A mixed outing for Hans Crouse, who was not very pitch-efficient and taken deep twice but fanned six of 17 batters and maintained better fastball velocity (94-96) than in previous starts.

Cole Ragans ventured toward a third consecutive outstanding start, only to fade late. After a 29-pitch, two-walk 4th that extended him to 84 total, Ragans surprisingly took the mound in the 5th. Two infield singles following a pop-up ended his night, and both runners would score against a struggling Grant Anderson. Still, Ragans missed 18 bats and allowed only one ball to reach the outfield. His swinging strike rate of 20.5% is best on the team.

I think the downturn in their effectiveness, a few weeks back, was mainly because of last year being an almost lost season. They were out of gas. Once they recovered and got a second wind they both bounced back fabulously.
