Per Dave Lapham...
The Pats can set that as a starting price in negotiations but no is giving up those picks plus the huge contract Garropolo and his agent are going to ask for in the trade. If the Pats are setting the price of Jimmy G at a 1 and a 4, the Bengals may do better this year than last. Not a certainty for sure, but it's possible.
it could change sure, but the reports out there now are a 1st and a 4th are the starting price and the Pats aren't coming down from it. If a team likes Jimmy G better than the QBs in this draft a 1st and 4th isn't much compared to what people are trading for Goff and Wentz. The Pats can set that as a starting price in negotiations but no is giving up those picks plus the huge contract Garropolo and his agent are going to ask for in the trade.
If McDaniels takes a job somewhere with a need at QB I can see him trading a second rder and a mid Rd pick.
I would happily take a 3rd for McCarron.
Holy shit, Crash is alive!!!
Where da fuck you been Crash?
The time to trade McCarron was last offseason. After a few halfway decent starts and a playoff appearance. He has now sat out an entire season. I highly doubt his value has gone up with his lack of game film.
I also doubt the Browns will want McCarron, nor would the Bengals be willing to send him there.
