Do you agree with them reversing the call?

Seattle won the SB last year....so I doubt there is a conspiracy
I think the bigger question is this: How did Dez Bryant get to storm onto the field, with NO HELMET, and yet no flag was thrown? This isn't an ambiguous issue...he came off the sidelines, onto the field of play, yelling at the officials with no helmet on...THAT should have been flagged.
that's interesting. I didn't see a ref answer to that one.
No one asked them...but they should have.
Again, the DPI could have been called or it could have been let go...it was tough.
They should have called the hold or the illegal contact more so than the DPI...they could/should have also called the WR pulling on the facemask of the LB.
But, like I said, the worst part was having Dez come off the sidelines, sans helmet, to yell at the official. That should have been a complete no-brainer.

BUT THEY ANNOUNCED THE PENALTY. You cannot announce a penalty and then pick it up. You can't. Plus it was clear PI because he didn't turn and look for the ball. You have to turn and look if you make any contact. Also Dez should have easily been penalized. Add that to the obvious and blatant no calls on the Dallas oline holding and facemasking the Detroit line on that final drive and you have a bad look, especially with that guy getting on the party bus before.
Isn't that face-gaurding, though? That's not a penalty in the NFL. Just college.
The whole thing about 'not playing the ball' and yet you are allowed to 'face guard' is contradictory, IMO.
However, if they would have called DPI AND the facemask, those would have off-set.
Now, I wonder if they had also called Bryant if that would also be part of the off-set, or if that would have stuck because, technically, it was AFTER the play was over....
You have to look for the ball if contact was made. That is still a rule in the NFL too. The announcers said it 100 times. Also the facemask was never called so it wouldn't have mattered. There was never a penalty on it or they still would have called it, it wouldn't have been picked up too. It was never mentioned so.
Like I said...hard to argue either side...they both have points.
I would have called the defensive holding more than anything else, probably.
But the Dez thing is a no brainer...of the penalties not called...there's not room for error there.
Where does this bridge lead?
And just how much would you like for it?
