Maybe if he sat the "food poison" down he could catch the ball.......

I hope LaMichael works out as our returner, but the muffing is unacceptable. I thought he was going to get benched after that. F Twitter, just catch the ball.

except for one catch last week, thought he was on his way as the PR? after today, I say try others out this week.

it isn't just the fact he bobbled the ball, today he didn't seem comfortable getting under it? after the bobble, on the next return he seemed to have lost confidence? cause didn't he fair catch a returnable punt? a PR has to be supremely confident, else problems arise.

if no one else can do it better, then no choice but to leave him in.

Dude, enjoy the win... The game had barely been over for an hour and he was already taking to twitter to absorb all the negetivity... He needs to change his priorities...

Don't like James' accountability. He complains about a lack of playing time when he does nothing with the time he does get, and now he's blaming his inability to catch punts - which isn't exactly unique to yesterday - on food poisoning. Not a good sign in my book. I never cared for that pick, and it's looking more and more like we blew it.

I agree the muffed punts were a little disturbing, but I don't get all the hate. Am I the only one that thought he was pretty good in Gores absence last year? 4 games, 27 attempts, 125 yards, 4.6 avg.

he has a career avg of 4.4 yards a carry so far. If we were the type of team that got their RB's involved in the passing game, he could be dangerous in my opinion.

What has he done for us this year? Either in the running game or on special teams? He seems to have regressed from his already unimpressive rookie year. Also I'm not loving his attitude.

You have to play to do something as the running back. I don't think he has regressed as much as he can't get playing time with Hunter and Gore both healthy. He has only been activated for 6 games and has only had 10 rushes. He doesn't fit into an offense that doesn't throw the ball to their RB's. Which is something we dont' do a lot of anymore.... for some unknown reason.

And why is any professional athlete on twitter? And reading what random people are saying about them? I don't understand that.

My primary objection to the pick was that we had Hunter, and I really like Hunter. I didn't see much of a role for James. James settled in and played pretty well when given a chance last year, but he wasn't as electric as I had hoped. And he just doesn't fit our current offense. I'm all for trying to work in our smaller backs, but we suck at running outside and on screens, primarily because of the blocking. That's arguably the single biggest area for improvement in the final weeks of the season IMO.
