The last ASG I went to was at Staples in 2002 and I went with Ox. Mrs. Ox couldn't make the game so I bought the ticket off him, and I think it was something like $75-85 and we sat in his seats in S215.

I had met him for the first time Saturday morning after 3 years on the board, this is the infamous incident where he thought I would snake the ticket and not come back LOL. Reason being was because I decided to go back home to HB that night instead of stay in LA to save money, it was only a 35-45 minute drive from my place. Came back Sunday and we attended the ASG.

We we went to the Young Stars Game Saturday - featuring a very young Roberto Luongo, Kovalchuk, Datsyuk, etc. - and watched the Skills Competition where J-Blow ripped his 88.9 MPH cannon of a slap shot. This was the first series that replaced the Heroes of Hockey Old Timers games and ran from 2002-2009. I'm sitting there in disbelief that Modry was in the game because Allison, Deadmarsh and Schneider were all injured so he and Palffy were the Kings' representatives. It was a miracle year for that jackball too with all those second assists and PP points.

Am definitely going to go to remember Ox and enjoy the atmosphere for him.
