Interesting. Nice to see a guy go out as an M than try to chase a check after their prime.

I kinda wish they would have brought him back for one more year. His average was crap but his power numbers were career bests on a team that lacks power.
But I guess there was no chance of that given his supposed non-relationship with office management.

I guess I said nothing was happening in the other thread so naturally something happened.

Good solid career, guessing he just choosing family over having to uproot them to go elsewhere.

Really wish this franchise could've gotten him to the playoffs. Was a blast following his career. Good luck Kyle!

Wish him the best of luck. As @SeattleCoug stated it has to be family. It wasn’t about production on the field

I 100% agree with these statements here... I believe that Kyle can still play but if anyone follows his wife's social media account, she goes through an absolute roller coaster filled emotions throughout the year. Guess they had talked about it and agree it's time to call it.

In the end, Kyle went out high and just like a few others that came before him, really wish this organization could give him a playoff. This team has a good chance at making the playoff next season... but they decided not to exercise his option. Shame.
