-13 is where I thought he'd be at, but hes not. ESPN and NHL have him at -22. Where did you get your number?

well seeing how he has 9 powerplay points and who knows how many other powerplay goals hes been on the ice for -22-9=-13 thats why i think +/- is stupid...if your out there for a goal your out there for a goal powerplay or pk same difference

Ah I see what you're saying. We're already in agreement that the +/- stat isnt a always a good base of how someone is doing, but I think it makes sense you dont count PP points. You're supposed to score on the PP, you're not supposed to give up short handed goals so I'm all for those counting against as well.

agree but a goals a goal they dont count any less if on the pp in fact they should count more (joking of course) because a team needs a really good pp these days. so he has been directly responsible for atleast 9 goals that dont count on the stat sheet. granted who knows how many hes given up short handed

I dont think hes given up too many if any short handed and it does count on the stat sheet, just not that column
