Apparently Dan Koppen was carted off the practice field but was able to walk into the locker room under his own power. Hopefully it's not serious. If so, paging Mr. Saturday

Very bad news, I saw saturday signed on with ESPN. I wonder if he would be willing to come back for one more year. Are there any other teams out there with depth at center we could possibly trade with?
What's the word on Blake? Any chance he'll finally rise to the occasion?
Not sure I like Ramirez there. Opposing teams targeted him hard as a guard with success. And now he's our center? Not liking that vibe.
From what I understand, Late October-November was an optimistic outlook for Walton anyway, so who knows how much further this will actually set him back. Kuper's still a ways away too, from what I understand. Blake can't be THAT bad if he successfully replaced Walton at Baylor.Blake last year before his injury was starting to look better in practice. So far this year I haven't read anything on him but it wouldn't surprise me if we start hearing a few more reports about him now.
My guess right now is either Ramirez or Kuper is the starting Center until Walton can return from injury. Heard Walton had a set back though as his surgery brought about an infection on his leg
Experience or not, can't possibly believe Ramirez is our best choice, even temporarily (if Walton is able to return soon).I am curious as to who on defense is breaking all the centers?
I don't think Kuper will be making a transition to center. I think his injury has really hampered him. I wonder if the coaches really want someone with experience. Blake has yet to play a game at what would be a very important position.
He was only marginal for the Packers anyway. Was replaced as starter midway through last season.I'm reading that Jeff Saturday has slimmed down to about 230 lbs. now. I don't think he's an option.
