What a game! 1 fumble recovered, 1 Int, 2 passes defensed today.

That's 5 passes defensed so far this year.

To think there were mummers of cutting him this last offseason. The D is struggling but he's having a renaissance year.

Actually KJ had a great season last year also, I think we all knew KJ could turn it around after his subpar 2018 season and people thought he would get cut not because of lack of production but age, declining skill set and salary cap issues, had nothing to do with him really.

Definitely a bright spot today on the D. Admittedly, I was ready to vote KJ Wright off the Seahawks. Last year he just wasn't that good, but I also have to wonder how Seattle is utilizing him. He was always more of a coverage linebacker than a pass rusher or run stopper. With Norton dropping everyone into coverage DEEP 24/7, Wright actually fills that role quite nice.

His first two games this year weren't impressive at all. Then he had an OK game. Now he's had back to back great games. He's getting better. He's probably a guy who could have used a couple pre season games to knock the rust off.

no joke, when i saw that live i jumped up and said "my god he's spiderman." The ball went THUNK! and just stuck! like he pulled it in with his web shooter.

Yeah, KJ was awesome last year as well so maybe he's found a fountain of youth or something? About the only thing he can't do is rush the passer, unfortunately enough. So glad we still have him though.

I would not want to cut KJ this defense needs all the veteran leadership they can get. I know there is nothing sexy about what he brings to the team he isn't a sack artist but he does do the things very well to give the offense a very hard time moving the ball. Its not like we are paying him a ton of money anyway.

that was the reason people brought up he could get cut. It was all for cap savings to bring in a stud DE not because of the lack of quality in his play.

KJ Makes the Hawks Defense better instantly no doubt, but he will also slow down the growth of younger players. I am all for having KJ here because I believe he is a more cerebral player than Bobby and has a lot to teach the younger guys. You do not need to be great physically to be a great football player and I feel KJ could teach this to the young guys. There is a case to be said that ultimately there is a bigger positive having him here for the Younger guys and borderline probowl quality pay from him. KJ doesn't look to be slowing down and when you take out his one injury season he has just improved. Stud under rated and under valued Linebacker and leader.

Yep, he was a standup person on and off the field... Couldn't have asked for a better pro in Seatown... Can't wait to see him retire as a Hawk...

He should be enshrined into the Seahawks HOF....
