The sarcastic point I was trying to make was that's how long it takes until our first round picks get to play.

Oh, I know, I was just kidding around.

It's not how long it necessarily takes them to play, but how long for the veterans in front of them to finally get to the point where they don't get re-signed, as well.

Of course, the last 3 DB picks have struggled to stay healthy to start their careers. Kirkpatrick was always dinged up early on, and now the same is true for Dennard, and of course W.J.III. At this rate, the kid we claimed off waivers from KC is going to end up being a bigger impact player.

Bama doesn't produce many corners that produce in the NFL. Quite the anomaly considering Saban came up as a DB coach. But in Dre's defense, this league is more about the pass rush than coverage. Rules are so ridiculous that you're asking DB's to basically run routes with the receivers and make absolutely no contact.

The name of the game is get to the QB and make him throw before his targets are ready.
