He had us taking Byron Jones CB from UConn at 27. Love the pick. Of course Waynes, Johnson, and Peters were already taken. Round 2 he had us taking DT Bennett from Ohio St. Again love the pick. 3rd round he had us taking RB- Langford from Michigan St. I have always liked Michigan St. RBs but if Yeldon from Bama is still there I would lean that way. Not bad at all Mel.

That would be a pretty nice haul, definitely something I could live with and be happy about the following week.

I like the first two picks alot, don't know about Langford in the 3rd. I wouldn't take an RB just to take one, and I'm not sure Langford could beat out McFadden, Randle, Williams or Dunbar. IMO, the backs the Cowboys might take in the 1st 3 ounds would be Gordon, Gurley, Coleman, Ajayi and Yeldon, big backs who would have a chance to start. Otherwise, take D in the 3rd and wait till later for a RB

I dont like our situation at RB. We need to get one of the top 5 rb,even if we have to use a 1st or 2nd round pick. This is the deepest RB class in a very long time. I would not hesitate to take Ajayi or Yeldon in round 2. Yeldon is going to surprise a lot of people.

I guess I really am not that fond of Kiper. His mock drafts suck. I remember him saying that Ebenezer Ekuban was a great pick for us. Ekuban SUCKED

I like Ronald Darby and would rather have him than most of the overrated trash in this draft. We dont need another slow corner like Clayburn. Darby has speed and we need more speed in the secondary. He is a great cover guy but has brick hands. He is always in position to make a play and is good at breaking up passes. With the right coaching he could be a stud. I would take him at 27
