With the new line-up changes and the subsequent loss to the big grey, fish-swallowing birds, I think B. Scott has spent some time with Mitch to float the idea of trade up to obtain the number one pick when it becomes appropriate to do so. Scott appears to be out of options with this roster when we don't play any D to speak of and our O takes nights off. We all realize its going to be a very long season.

Jordan Hill is their best trade chip. I don't see how they can turn that into the #1 pick in 2015 though. They could end up with the #1 pick anyway with some lottery luck, assuming they end up getting to keep it.

SB Nation and ESPN have floated the idea that a Hill, Kelly, Price or Lin and a number two package may fetch a trade up. But Lakersrule maybe correct. Kobe can play for his personal goals of being the NBA leading scorer but at the rate we are playing we could very well end up with that pick as a default.

Yeah, I think that the only way he comes back after next season would be if he felt the team could contend and he felt he could still play at a high level. If both of those are the case, I could see him signing a 1 year deal to see if he could catch MJ.
