Mitchell, Ponikarovsky out at least a month with injuries

This bolded part of the story shocked me the most...



Ponikarovsky has two goals and two assists for Los Angeles, providing his biggest contributions defensively on the third line

Really??? His 2 months with the Pens consisted of floating up and down the wing not doing a thing.

Ponikarovsky could go into the corner with an egg in his pants and emerge with the egg fully intact. That guy is Charmin-soft.

Tough luck for Willie Mitchell, though, the Kings will miss him.

Poni has been a surprise to us Kings fans that follow other teams. So far this year he has been a little gritty with some scoring. Being on a line with Simmonds maybe embarrased him into playing some D.

Mitchell has been all Nucks fans told us he would be. Kings have a very good Defense this year and an super PK in no small part thanks to Mitchell.

Mitchell has been a huge addition to the Kings! The thing I like about the Kings is their future in defense with Hickey, Teubert, & Forbort.
