Arkansas has had a coach that crashed his motorcycle with his mistress on the back, one that looked like he ate his mistress, another that entered flying on a wire and now potentially Lane Kiffin in a decade. I earnestly feel bad for them and hope this works out.

Oddly, ISU was actually favored in 8/9 Conference games this year. No shame in losing @ Baylor by 2 and @ Oklahoma by 1, but being favored by 10 at home over Oklahoma State and fighting from behind all day and ultimately losing on a pick six was baffling. Losing @ K-State as a 5 point favorite sucked too.

Growing pains, I guess. Next year, ISU should be one of the pre-season favorites with all of the young offensive skill players returning and another year of Campbell-ism. Wish we had Pettway for another year! My buddy and I called him "7 for 7" every time he caught a pass

I honestly think Montgomery made a bigger difference there than most folks will admit. He really gave the ISU offense a bigger punch and an added dimension of threat. Was a great recruiting grab for Campbell.

Arkansas literally is a top 5 toughest job in college football right now.

1. They play in the SEC West
2. They are located in a low population state that does not produce a lot of football talent
3. Currently the program is in shambles

It would be insane for Campbell to take it. Kiffin makes sense as he is a little crazy anyway and if we fails there will always be a conference USA team that will give him another shot.

I still think they need to go after Gus as he could be to them what Scott Frost is to Nebraska.

Agree with 1 and 3 but, while 2 is true, we still recruit around the same or better than South Carolina, Ole Miss (when Freeze isn't cheating), Mississippi State, Kentucky, Missouri, etc. There isn't a whole lot of difference in recruiting after you get past the top 6-7 teams in the SEC. The crazy thing is the entire division basically recruits in the top 25 on average. Yet here we are getting blown out by WKU and losing to San Jose State

Read this morning where some of the BOT is pushing back on Kiffin and want a morality clause in his contract because some are worried about him dating students we can never just let the AD do his job I guess.
