If Heins was 107, why was Charas 105 considered the record?? Do minor pro shots not count as professional records?

I think it was accurate, Heins can get 107 as a bum I see no reason why this guy cant get 110... Im sure theres been plenty of shots over 110 that have just never been recorded... Wasnt Bobby Hull clocked at 118mph??

I just find the timing odd, as of they are trying to show up.the nhl, which is failing anyway

Didnt the NHL steal the Player Team Name thing from the KHL?? I dont see how its an attempt to show up the NHL as a lot of fans seem to disreguard it as even a record because it didnt happen in NHL...

I think after the playoffs are done they should do an NHL All-Stars vs KHL All-stars game like the old super/summit series... I dont see the NHL going for it tho

Bobby Hull's is widley believed to have been a miscalibrated radar gun. It wasn't nearly as acurate then as it is now.

And the KHL is a league that can't get working defibulators (sp?) in their arenas. I don't have much confidence in the accuracy of thier technical equipment.

I would be interested to see how fast the shots are off of a one timer. I think that would be faster than hitting a stationary puck.
