He has a good shot to start there. Their current starter is Nathan Peterman and it doesn't bode well for Josh Allen if he couldn't even beat out Peterman for the job. As bad as Paxton is if he signs he's instantly their best QB on the roster.

No he isn’t

Everyone knew when Allen was drafted he needed time. He wasn’t a start from day 1 guy.

Peterman is nothing but Paxton is even worse.

You just described Paxton Lynch. People said he wasn't ready and needed time to develop and look where he is now. And Paxton is miles better than Peterman. I mean Jesus Christ Peterman threw more interceptions in 1 half than Paxton threw in his entire NFL career.

Just look at these stats from last year

Paxton Lynch - 2 games 2 starts, 30-45 66.7 completion%, 295 yards 2 TD's 3 INT's, 72 QBR.
Nathan Peterman - 4 games 2 starts, 24-49 49.0 completion%, 252 yards 2 TD's 5 INT's, 38.4 QBR

And Peterman was only sacked 1 time compared to Lynch with 9(Buffalo's O-line was much better than ours and they made the playoffs whereas we finished with 5 wins so they're Offense overall was better than ours).

I'm not saying Paxton should still be on the team and be starting over Keenum but don't you sit there and try and tell me Paxton Lynch is a worse QB than Nathan freaking Peterman.

Paxton is indecisive with the ball and holds it too long which will drive his stack numbers up. I don't know enough about Peterman other then the 4 INT 1st half against the Chargers. In my opinion Buffalo will regret trading Taylor. He seems like a guy that would be a good mentor to Allen and a guy that could have kept them in games this year.

I’m not sure how Buf coaches can trot out Peterman and expect the other 52 to be excited about their QB.

Forget the other 52 players, they are being paid to get excited. What about the fans and season ticket holders? They are paying to see that. That is just sad.

Funny that we are trying to debate who is better Paxton or Peterman. That's sad.

Paxton is not miles above anyone in the NFL. I'd put them on the same level really. Maybe Peterman has improved. We know Paxton hasn't.

Josh Allen is not the type of player you throw to the wolves. The Bills will be picking first this year IMO. But I think that every other year of the Bills and they never actually end up with the #1 pick.

Can you imagine having to work with Peterman, Allen and Paxton all at once?

That is a ton of time trying to develop.

If Sean McDermott can make that all work then he has a long future in the NFL.

I do like Josh Allen's tools, just not sure the Bills or Broncos were the right team for him. I hope he works out there. He could be great. Just seemed like not the best team for him to go start his career with.

I just wish the division could get their stuff together so the Patriots don't have a clear path to the playoffs every year.

NFL Front offices are not smart. Keep Taylor, sit Allen and compete. Pretty simple.
Instead cut Taylor, draft Allen, sign McCarron, trade McCarron and go with Peterman. The GM in BUF can't feel good right now.

Yeah. I mean Taylor was a money thing, but the McCarron thing was just a mess. It is all a big mess. Pretty crazy string of events in Buffalo. I still don't exactly get why some teams including us were so intrigued by McCarron as an NFL starting QB. That's just me though.

I heard a rumor that Hogan was Jordan Richards' brother by a different half mother.

I wouldn't be surprised if we waive Kevin Hogan after week 1 and bring in another DB.

Hogan is still PS eligible. Just a random thought. Maybe not.
