Didn't Kyrie want the shot all the time too? It just so happens he's a PG though, and a big part of his job is getting everyone else shots to keep them invested and involved. Seems to me Kyrie is just a bit of a loner that is tough to fit into a roster and build around. He hasn't been very successful in forging relationships and becoming part of the team.

In a lesser role it could happen. Not as a #1, and even as a #2 (next year with Durant back) it could be tough unless he alters his game a bit.

Kyrie was a necessary experiment. But fortunately we did not trade away Brown and Tatum to have that experiment and kemba is a perfect add

It's hard to argue in favor of Kyrie - but for whatever reason - he clearly was not a good fit for the Boston and the system they run and clearly they are better without him this year. I am now ready to see a good old fashioned Finals between the Lakers and the Celtics
