Not at their age now that's obvious but who's to say they wouldn't demand today's players change to their style. Then again what players are they referring to?, Shaq, Kobe? or as a whole.

As a whole.

Great players could play of course.

But like Shaq especially wouldn’t be as impactful. Kobe would be fine obviously.

I think what he means is that the average guard from
20 years ago wouldn’t be anything close to an average guard today.

And I agree with that.

Isn't that true for any sport over that span? Heck, isn't that true for most jobs over that span?
20 years ago if you knew HTML and a little javascript you were a web guru. Today, not so much.

Yes it is.

Which is why I find it absolutely hilarious when people come in here and try to claim that 90s players were better than today’s players.

Humans get better at almost everything over time.

I think peak Warriors would smoke the Dream Team just because they’d shoot 3’s all the time, regardless of how much better the Dream Team is than GS at basketball.
Dream Team no, but could they beat the 1996 Bulls?

He is partly right in his thinking...kinda goes along with @tlance said, some guys would absolutely would either not be as good in this era, as valuable or really no place in this NBA. Some great players would not be as dominate for the simple fact of the game changing but I also think if they were growing up in the era some could change their style to fit today’s NBA. So he is right but I don’t think this is an “apply for all” situation imo

If you can shoot 40%+ from 3 at a high volume, it doesn’t matter who you’re playing against. Let the Dream Team get a bunch of 2-pointers.

Just go over the matchups one by one in your head of this supposed game. Then think about the benches of the two teams. Come on man
