It's backfired on them. They've had more flags at Daytona and Kentucky than they've had in 15 years. They would have been better off not saying anything. It's ironic in a way because they didn't really need to do anything. They had frowned upon confederate flags years ago and it actually worked. You don't see near as many on the circuit as you use to.

Lol. Have you never listened to any driver from any series on a given week? This is standard protocol. They all find something to complain about.

And of course there would be a lot of this week. NASCAR made a significant change and they had basically zero time to test it out due to weather. Everyone's essentially winging it. And that's all on top of Kentucky being a tough handling track to begin with.
