I never doubted Martinez's desire. His ability and judgement sure. Also, as Glen Mason pointed out Saturday, it looks like we have another QB with footwork issues. Hopefully Armstrong's family can pay for an expensive camp this off season, as there seems to be no one on the staff that can bother themselves with such things.

I wouldn't read too much into that statement.

I always thought Tito wanted to win and cared. Not being vocal to others doesn't mean someone doesn't care or want to win. It can mean they were raised not to be too critical of others. Taylor seemed fairly shy and was uncomfortable talking about himself. That's why he said some weird things.

It sounds to me like Armstrong is of the vocal type and intends to take a leadership role. That's what a QB should be and it bodes well for leadership the next couple of years if he is in fact the best talent.
