Taken from the Karl Malone 2016-2017 PF Watchlist, this may be the best group of Power Forwards in years. Several players worthy of winning this award this season. Mainly because of being upper class men.

A lot of those guys are really small forwards playing in small lineups.

Jenkins, Hayes, Lydon, etc

But I guess in college, that's really common.

I'll go homer mode and say Jordan Murphy should at least be on the list. He averaged 12 pts, 8 rbs as a freshman last year. He may not improve upon those numbers, but only because Minnesota will have more options this year.

He was a helluva player at Clayton High School in NC. But he was considered a 4-Star player even though he was a Top 100 player.

He's listed more as a small forward isn't he?

Jordan Murphy, Minnesota, Small Forward

His size would indicate as such, but for him to be the best player he can be he's a power forward IMO. He is definitely undersized, but he can't really shoot, which is why I say his most effective position would be at PF. On the official gophers website he's just listed as forward, which probably makes sense, because he'll probably see time at both. Not sure if Combo Forward is a thing like Combo guard, but he's probably that.

His offense is finally starting to catch up to his defense/rebounding. He's gonna be a beast this season.
