As a matter of interest, Warner was helping Ryan Lindley as well.
And look what happened to him! He eventually became the starter!! But seriously this doesn't surprise me in the least. Kaep has always been one of the hardest workers on the team, if not the hardest working. The problem is he has always worked harder on the physical aspects of his game more than the mental aspects. But it was working out for him with success on the field. Now that he regressed he did something about it. I get it that he is easy to dislike with his cocky attitude and instant success mostly due to the defense not him. But you can't deny his effort or preparation and shouldn't be shocked by this.
