I don't see how that would work. If you haven't heard of Harvard it makes you look like a total idiot.

The bolded is dead on though. In fact the really snotty ones when you ask where they went to school they say "a private school back East" with tons of false modesty. Making you of course ask which one so they can sheepishly say "oh, um, Harvard"
