People love it and I"ve never understood why.

It’s not as historically accurate as Wyatt Warp (Costner one), but it absolutely destroys that movie in entertainment value. Imhumbleo of course.

Lmao, ouch, hot and spicy tuna roll. He’s either hit or miss with me. Mostly Miss. I do like Tin Cup and Field of Dreams. And then there’s ones like Postman that made me want to gauge my eyes out and drink bleach.

The only actor less believable is Billy Bob Cuntface* ... I think that is his last name.

Although I do like him in his one season of Fargo*.

Bull Durham was a perfectly acceptable movie. Not a great film, but it did have some wonderful scenes (Lollygaggers!)

However that's a minor aside to this: Sling Blade is one of the top ten films of ALL TIME. And I've seen thousands. It's literally a perfect film. Every scene is important, every line necessary. The framing of the dialogues are amazing. There is no waste, nothing that wasn't fully thought through. BBT wrote it, directed it, and starred in it. Got Dwight Yokam and John Ritter to do the film for scale.

Its a masterpiece. I can only assume you haven't seen it.

I do plan on viewing it and Monsters Ball. I hear both are great.
