5 star WR commit, who just enrolled a few weeks ago is already in the transfer portal.

I don't think I've ever heard of a player transferring before even stepping foot on the practice field.

Would he still have to sit out a year if he transfers even though he was never really a part of the team?

Something stinks here.

Bru said he took nine finals his last semester in high school so he could enroll early.

He really wanted Kingsbury. Then, Kingsbury went to the Arizona Cardinals. Still shaking my head on that hire.

No OC. Looks like it would be either Texas or Tennessee with Tee Martin there as OC. Bad look for USC.

i hope USC doesn’t release him that would be a mistake. hell or they could release him with restriction of cant transfer to texas that would be something

It is just a matter of whether he plays for Texas in 2019 or 2020.

Unless his Trojan teammates and coeds can convince him otherwise.

I dont think he trust the Trojan brass and coaches anymore. It is up to the team now.

The thing with Kingsbury was so shady, that he will likely get the exception.

USC and Kliff made a devils bargain for the sole purpose of this single recruit.

I think he does have to sit out if he signed his loi, right?

Edit: unless he gets a waiver

He can appeal to the committee (forgot the name). They have been very friendly in their past rulings toward players. USC may not want anymore press on this and just let him go. Right now USC has bigger issues than Bru McCoy. He is just a symptom of a bigger issue. It is January and it looks like they have a lame duck coach for 2019. They need to blow it all up and get a legit AD in there to move on from the Swann era

It's a very bad look to not release the kid. It would do more harm than good and could hurt your final class right when signing day is around the corner.

There’s literally no reason to go to USC if you’re a top recruit. Their school is a dump in the middle of gang-infested squalor. Their academics are second-rate and their football program has to rely on nostalgia and a long memory to recall when they were last relevant. The only reason to go to USC is if you’re not a great athlete or don’t have the grades to get into a real school.

This seems like an unbiased opinion.

How bad are things? Their best move this decade was hiring Kingsbury and he left almost quicker than this recruit.
