Hats off to Giannis and the Bucks though.

They’re the Champs. Not really defending anything until someone gets the chance to play them again, but I guess, whatever.

Championship effort by a Championship team. PJ Tucker didn’t even need to score to matter. Much respect.

Also, won’t hear me complain much when anybody says the Greek is the best player now. I’m good.
That's Mr Greek Freak to you sir

Humble? He was at Chik-Fil-A ordering 50 chicken nuggets with the Larry O' B and his MVP trophy in the car. :heh:

Which was awesome, btw.

He's going to need a raise if he keeps eating at Chik-Fil-A.

good to see that a small market franchise with a home grown star can win in the NBA.

it was a great NBA Finals that was good for the league.

He's basically the only player on the roster that was "home grown".

Middleton was dealt there in his 2nd year- hes played 585 games- 27 not in a Bucks uniform. GMAFB. Thats their 2 best guys.

and really- Giannis is BY FAR the most important obviously. Even guys like Connoughton and Lopez have been there for years now.

this isnt the Nets or Lakers

Lopez has been there 3 years, same as Lebron in LA. Same for Connaughton (out of 6 years). Regardless, not homegrown.

Lakers traded most of their homegrown players for AD and to make space for Lebron.

right- basically all your main players were not developed by your team. Except Kuzma.

Did I claim otherwise? You forgot Caruso and THT though, both have sizable roles (with THT's to grow, if not S&T).

"sizable roles"?

7th and 10th in playoff minutes?

we may have different definitions of "sizable roles"

id hate to see what a "minor" role would be. lol the waterboy?

Caruso is the backup PG, and THT had a bigger role down the stretch at both PG and wing. Once in the playoffs, the leash shortened as usual. I would consider the immediate backup at any position a large role (Caruso).

It can definitely happen. That is now twice in the last 6 seasons.

Just very, very incredibly hard to do.
