Gotta love the Lakers super team bought title. I mean it’s very impressive when you join up with another top 5 player and are a top 5 player.
Why you only mentioning the Lakers?

Because it was abundantly obvious as to whom the consensus was rooting for at the time the bubble was created.

The Clippers are a large market team in name only. The Bucks? This board literally had a party when they lost in the second round...

@HurricaneDij39 are you @Jordan23? I was asking, not just about last year, because their rant about top 5 players joining up could cover Heat and Warriors titles as well, as has been pointed out up thread. Why only hate on the Lakers for what many teams are doing (Nets as well)?

Judging by his name, I am guessing he is stuck in the past.

Stars from the 90s would have teamed up too if free agency rules were the same as today. Especially as the Bulls were running roughshod over the league. When they tell you otherwise, they are lying.

Jordan got his 6 rings because he had a top 10 (maybe top 5) player as a co-star at a time when talent was spread out more than any other era.

But 90s lovers will never admit that.

I was partying because the Heat beat them.

Weird to start this thread when you're a Pacers/Nuggets fans

I guess when the teams you root for have a combined 0 titles in a combined 90 years...you latch on to whatever you can and rail against those teams that have been far more successful than yours.

Lakers: $136.9M
Bucks: $132M

Does that extra $5M (Deng's dead money) make the Lakers a super team that bought the title, but not the Bucks lol?

Us fans are humble like the leader of the team. We know people realize this and do not have to remind them.

Luol Deng makes it a super team. Short Buss was right after all.
