Is a team led by Lowry and Gasol really that much different than the Grizz teams led by Conley and Gasol? Low rung playoff team at best, IMO. Celtics, Sixers, and Bucks at LEAST are better, Pacers and Nets could be.

Especially since this is old Gasol. He's still good. But not as good as he was in Memphis.

Just like the Cavs...you won't be winning a title anytime soon. Trade the big contracts and build around Siakam, Van Fleet and the young guys after this season. Did they extend Lowry? I don't know why they did, maybe at this point it's just bc was part of the championship team.

I like Siakam, but I don't think he'll be anything more than the third option on offense. A really good player for sure, though.

Toronto Raptors have started out of the gate nicely, but it is a long season and we have yet to see if this is a pattern that they can maintain. I have looked at their players and they got two guys that can score 50 points or so per game. They got a good chance of making the playoffs being in the Eastern Conference and I will go out on a limb to say that they will. Making the playoffs, getting to the finals and winning again, however is an entirely different story. We have to be real here because we all know had the Warriors been healthy, the Raptors wouldn't be the defending champions and they have earned that title. I am happy to see some one new win the title for a change when it's not the Lakers though and I wish them well. Without Leonard, I do not think they are even close to a sure thing.
