If you could read, what does 74 have to do with 67 and 100?

You're pulling 74/75 out of your ass.

I'll admit I didn't do math when is said "NEARLY 50%" but I knew just by looking I didn't need a calculator to see it was closer to 50 vs 100.
I've told you a few times what it means, so ironic you went with the "if you could read" card. In addition, you have shown you struggle with math now.

Here it is again...if you need help, please ask and make sure you save the info.....

Someone (you, perhaps?) claimed Watson's base was only about half of the full minimum salary. That's a lie as the truth is it is 2/3rds or 67% of that amount........I then made the correct claim that saying his deal is about as close to 90% of the full amount as it is to half. This is where you and some others got confused so let me explain this.....again. will also explain were the 74% came in

50 is about 74% of 67. 67 is about 74% of 90...which was why I said it was about as close to 90% as it is 50%.

The 75 was "pulled out" to find out if you could understand math and asked if you thought 75% was 25% more than 50%. You didn't answer.

Only thing to add is when the Browns and watson agreed to their deal - as I'm sure you know as you and many others pointed it out - is it was for the full 1.035 mil. The Browns did not try to pull anything over and help out Watson by making it 690K. To say otherwise, ironically, is another lie. In fact, to make those saying they did look even more foolish the Browns would have preferred he not be suspended and get his full 1.035 mil.

Hope that helps, but I suspect you'll continue to lie about me, the Browns, etc.

I've seen some dumb things to argue over but this is up there.

It's clear the way cleveland structured the deal was a huge selling point for Deshaun. Arguing over the details seems pointless.

On the bright side it seems we will have a year to argue this out some more since he will be sitting unless he challenges the ruling.

you guys are killing me with your math arguments.
Think DT's point is. The reason the money is less than min. is because they removed the suspended money from the browns cap.

He is supposed to get 1,035,000.00
Divide that by 17 game checks. 60,882.35
multiple game check by 6 = 365,294.12
subtract that from the base Salary = 669,705.88 is new base salary.
Now I dont know where the other 20k comes from. (his base this year says 690k) Whether a workout bonus or some perk or something, but this is the reason his base is lower than the minimum.

So if his suspension ends up all year his base salary will be zero.

Yep. His base salary was a million and change before all this.

Yep....we had eastbay, GNG and Handi.
Cowboy fans here paid the price many times when trying to discuss football. Dtgold single handedly has destroyed any logic here and it's clearly been his agenda all along.

here is an interesting thing.
When divided by 18 (weeks) the # actually comes out to 690k
So I guess they are counting the bye week as a game check as well.
Which I didnt think about.

Watson is slated to miss six of his $57,500 game checks in 2022 for a total of $345,000 lost off his $1.035 million base salary. After this year, Watson's salary jumps to $46 million in '23 with a $44.965 million signing bonus, per ESPN.

its an 18 game season

Yes it was me who said nearly 50%
I'm not sure why you keep bringing up 74/75, 90?

Let me ask a question though. What is 67 closer to 50 or 100?

Now I see your saying they initially signed him to the year one minimum of 1.035M then changed it. I won't argue that as I really don't know, all I know is what his current deal says, but lets agree it was changed, doesn't that further support @HaroldSeattle in his claim the Browns protected Watson?

Is the year official yet? Heard a rumor all but done but nothing official that I saw.

Does not matter. He will sit the season and get 2022 money in 2023. This is most unsettling to Watson.

Don't let spinner get you off track to what the issue here really is

unless he challenges the ruling.
When he gets the full year (or whatever more they decide) Then I hope he does fight it. So the suspension will go into next year when he will lose real game checks.
Right now he will lose 345k for his 6 games. That is like 13.5% of one single game check next year.
Hell if he misses the whole year this year it is just over 40% of one single game check next year. (unless DTgold wants to check my math)
So I hope he contests the new ruling (whatever it is) Because it will cost him a lot more if any of that suspension goes into next year.

I'd suspect it's gonna be a year. What he and the nflpa do from there is up to them.
