In all seriousness, you'll have time to see if he becomes decent. So if you have him, give it a couple more yrs before pulling the plug.
If you need a QB2 this yr, look elsewhere

Can be good to take chances on young QBs with new offensive minded coaches.

Expecting a dumpster fire in Arizona is probably right though.

Brees got ran out of town too... Definitely wouldn't be the first time.

He sure looked awful, but I'd bet on him before Josh Allen!

Well, @The Foot , my hatred for rookies might be overstated, but second to rookies, less-known, yet just as hated are young QB. They usually take time to develop. Too much time. And as some have stated above, what it may boil down to is the right coaching staff and/or scheme that takes advantage of his strengths. If you have the roster space (and time to spare - like a couple of seasons), he could pan out.

I'm just not sure Buffalo is the right situation for him.
He throws for a couple hundred yards per game, 10 total TD and 12 INT. Not exactly fantasy numbers. And if you consider that he's not even taking advantage of garbage time passing while losing or when defenses are playing prevent, that's not a good indicator IMO. Of course, he had a different coaching staff last season.
:2cents:

oh 10k percent!:suds:. I love that we often have differing opinions, have said that before. But allen, yuck. The argument even fantasy wise that hes a running qb.... He was for 6 games. Never before in has career NFL or college was he a running qb. He had no other choice, he was under pressure, and he cant pass. What else was he gonna do. Its the nfl you dont think they figure out a way to contain a guy whose not normally a runner? I could be wrong........but again guys with accuracy issues in college, generally have accuracy issues in the pros. You can find examples of guys who turned it around. Cam newton for example. Except for his outlier accuracy this past season. just my 2 cents!:2cents:.

Give rosen some coaching, and a little better talent and lets see. THe guy has the talent, does he have the drive, thats always been the question

Yeah if you are in tanking mode, might be a good strategy.

Love the underdog stories.
Now I'm pulling for Rosen to succeed.
Hope Murray is another Leinart.

But draft either? No way.

Footy now has multiple reasons to hope for Rosen's success. I don't see what the 'Phins have in place as anything more than a baby step up from what Rosen had last year. Better staff, no DJ, no Fitz..he's still not setup for success, if he's got it in him, it'll be all on him
