Lopez was acquired in the Moustakas trade and is perfect through 8 innings against the Twins. And no, designated no-hitter breaker Joe Mauer won't hit in the 9th unless the Twins get a baserunner.

But, this looks more like the Lopez that was a former top 100 prospect. Not sure what the Royals have done with him or if it's dumb luck, but it appears to really be working for him the past two starts. A lot of ink was spilled over Brett Phillips, but I kind of like Lopez more with the movement he has on his pitches. If he can get some command going on a start to start basis...
