And weirdly....they cut a WR to make room for Adams. Weird. We now have three healthy receivers in roster.

I’m guessing something is going on that is leading up to bringing another receiver in this week. Or maybe bringing Miller up (although that feels soon and they would need to make another cut or demotion to do it). Possible I guess that Alshon is ready (weird as he has only been called “week to week” to this point).

It’s a puzzling bit of roster moves today.

Here is my reason why I don't mind this move. The fact that both Wentz and Foles really like this guy and are familiar with one another is big. He knows Doug's system and doesn't need catching up really. My only concern and big concern is his health.

JM only played the slot here ... that position is locked down by Agholor. Just need Alshon and Wentz back ... everything else will fall into place. I see Wentz also getting Goedert involved way more than we saw with Foles.

The kid hustles, I'll give him that, but I wonder if he can play outside. He was kind of an experiment in the slot because of his size and lack of shiftiness, so maybe he'll do better on the outside like Agholor has done in the slot.

The good is that he's familiar with the system and Wentz ... what I'm not clear on is where JM will line up? Again, his bit of success with us was lined up in the slot. He's not proven anywhere that he can play outside. So do we move Agholor outside after finding his groove in the slot to make it easy for JM to be incorporated into the offense?

Word is he will play in the slot with Agholor moving outside. I don't love that because Agholor has been far better inside than outside. But the beat writers say he has been moving around more and has had more success outside this year. I haven't studied the tape so I don't know.
