I just wanted to post this on behalf of Goodwin's performance last season. It states pretty much the same thing that I saw. It also tells me that Konz is out of the picture at #30 (thank goodness).

I don't agree with that assessment at all. I thought Goodwin was ok run blocking, but in the 2nd half of the season he was severely lacking in pass protection. And he's nnot getting any younger.

By the way why wouldn't you like Konz at 30? He's actually the guy I'd want there.

I wouldn't want Konz at #30 because I think Goodwin isn't bad, plus we have him for 2 more seasons. I thought his second half of the season was pretty solid. I know I see a couple of guys say that he was so bad, I'm sure it was just a bad taste from the beginning of the season. The same way people were saying how bad Staley was, then he made the pro bowl.

Goodwin's worst game all season was against Arizona in week 14.

That still doesn't mean that he had a bad 2nd half.

Alex Smith's worst game was in the NFC Championship game, he still had a good season.

I know that doesn't mean Goodwin had a bad 2nd half, but Goodwin had a bad 2nd half. He had a bad season, and he's well past his prime. And the NFL keeps getting pass friendlier while his pass blocking skills get worse (and they're already not very good).

and ppl want to trade a pick for wallace? how are we suppose to drive the ball downfield when the pocket collapses from the inside? the saints have a great interior line allowing brees to step into his deep throws.

we need some gogan nastiness on the inside, something that we've been missing for a while it seems

That stat does look pretty bad, although we aren't a passing team.

I still wouldn't go center in the 1st round of THIS years draft.
