Hopefully this is just a 1-2 week thing and he can get back sooner rather than later - Ben Scrivens needs to be good for us but most importantly the entire team needs to play well and score some goals

Did a little research on the internet and it looks like the average recovery time for a grade 2 strain is approximately 2-3 weeks. Let's hope it's only 2 although I wouldn't want him to rush it.

I was reading something else too that said that there might not be an exact recovery time but more so it's about how he feels and what not - hopefully it's not too long

Good thing it's still early in the season and not happening in March.

Per The Blog, the Grade II strain requires anywhere from 2-6 weeks to recover. I'm thinking that with the style that Quick plays & the flexability that he needs, I wouldn't be surprised that it was in the 4-5 week range before we see him back on the ice. Good thing this is happening in the first third of the season.

Well, the entire team will need to step up and play their A game, not just Ben Scrivens - this team needs to score some goals - tonight they need to get some goals past Kevin Poulin

This blows, Scrivens didn't even make a save the last game he lost

That was a tough game for him to come into, can't really blame him for that one - we'll see what he has in live game action where he's getting repetition

It was a joke, Scrivens is what I would expect from a backup.

Was listening to the game on 1150 yesterday while working on the road and Nickson said 2 months. Wouldn't be surprised if it went that long just for safety reasons.

Quick's style could really be hampered if not healed properly, I would err on the side of caution for certain considering the financial investment and quality of goalie he is.
