You can make all the strategy comments you want, and to some extent you're right. There is more strategy in the al than NL guys admit , but obviously significantly more in the NL. That said, watching the starting pitcher come up to hit with two outs and runners on and flail hopelessly at 3 pitches is a joke. Plus, you run the risk of injuring your pitchers.
