Can't say I'll miss him, but then again I've never really liked any of the Bengal beat writers. Hobs, Curnnete, Reedy.... Maybe it's an impossible position. I suppose Marvin will be happy.

Marvin always seemed to save some of his dirtiest press conference looks for Reedy, which made me like him more than all the others. He never got answers, but at least he tried to ask some controversial questions, and was probably the only non-yesman among the beat writers. For that, I will miss him.

Reedy did a nice job of challenging Marvin (or at least trying), but he was a world-class dick to fans on twitter and he did a lot of bitching and moaning about his job.

Agreed on this as well.

he's a prick. He's also from Cleveland, which explains a lot. He'll be happy up there covering a crappy Indians team and watching the 3-13 Browns every year.

The guy taking over did a lot of work for UC in the past. I like him from his UC coverage, but we'll see how he does covering a much bigger entity.
