saw this....on twitter...but dismissing the cards...

cards were 8-8 last year....with a 9 win point differential.

they had 5 one score losses. Kyler murray can easily leap forward...and plenty of talent on both sides of the ball
They also had a couple of miracle wins and blew out some terrible teams. OT win against Seattle and the Hail Mary win against Buffalo. I think 8-8 was about right.

I dont disagree.

But look at alot of teams. They beat crappy teams and do ok against good teams.

just using bucs because they win the superbowl.

Beat:
Falcons 2x
Panthers 2x
Vikings
Lions
Raiders
Chargers
Broncos
Giants
Packers

thats 11 wins only packers were

losses to
Saints 2x
Rams
chiefs
Bears

guess my point is though, theyre a building team with an emerging qb and core talent. They easily could of gone up in wins. Just their point differential should of had them at 9 wins. Granted they won some close ones too. But its a team to really watch.

More than likely, he took the most money. The cards probably don't have a great chance at a ring in the short term

I think this move is probably them trying to take their best shot while Murray is still cheap. If they don't at least make the playoffs this year, you have to wonder where things are headed.

Ha yep, the gap bw getting stafford, and adding watt is massive imho.

Although heardsome stats today that even last uear, when healthy, no player(supposedly) wins their matchup more often. It was on first take today.
I guess he might of. But I don’t know what he was doing after he won his matchup.

That report is wrong. Browns insider said the Browns offered around $12M. Other teams reportingly offered about the same $12M. The Cardinals went way above that and added a 2nd year

" As teams continued to court J.J. Watt during his 16-day stint as a free agent, the three-time All-Pro pass-rusher said all signs kept pointing him to the Arizona Cardinals, with whom he signed a two-year deal on Tuesday"

LOL...23M guaranteed will do that
Love everything JJ has stood for but, I don't think any other team woulda paid him what the Cards will
