Not really. There was some conflict between them. Main concern is unknown how position coach will translate over dc. Oregon was vetter on D 2 years ago than last. Last season very avg. Like 50s or 60s

Leavitt was practically out the door when he didn't get the HC job. He didn't recruit this year and he had his eyes set on other head coaching positions.

Oregon was already preparing to move on from Leavitt.
