I remember Jim Kyte more for his helmet than anything. I think he had hearing aids and his helmet was designed to protect them?

I think that is for switch hitters
BTW, I really do not think I ever heard of him. If so I cannot recall. After reading through the thread and the posts that came after, I do not want anyone thinking I was making a deaf joke. I wasn't.I don't recall ever hearing his name.
Your clarification has fallen on deaf ears.BTW, I really do not think I ever heard of him. If so I cannot recall. After reading through the thread and the posts that came after, I do not want anyone thinking I was making a deaf joke. I wasn't.
Are you saying he likes dudes? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I don't think the league is any more or less hono(u)rable today than when Kyte played, I mean guys like Ken Linseman and Esa Tikkanen were getting under opponents skins and not backing it up with their fists when Kyte was playing. It probably just seems that way today with outlets such as twitter and youtube.
With your general sense of humour and this I'm starting to think that maybe you're not as old as you've suggested. Have you not talked to any of your contemporaries? Literally EVERYTHING is getting worse, hockey or otherwise.
