Bowles was a great coordinator, but I question if he has the personality for a HC. He is a very laid back guy. Pretty much the opposite of Rex.

I hope it works out for him. He sure did pick a train wreck of a situation to try and rebuild.

Knew this was coming whether it be to the Jets, Falcons, Bears, Niners, etc.... I think he'll make a great coach as long as he can find a solid offensive coordinator... he's definitely going to be missed in AZ.

I do not like the move at all as a jet fan...

Even though i know absolutely nothing about Todd Bowles, and i am sure he deserves a head coaching job, but Rex Ryan's biggest problem was his ineptitude in offense... Why hire another Defensive minded coach??

Cowherd was talking about the Bills hiring Ryan, but he put it really well and it applies to this too. You have a young couple who has a sports car and then they have a baby.... decide they need to get another vehicle to accommodate the additional family member.... and they buy another sports car.

The word I'm getting locally is the Falcons really like Quinn and I've seen reports that Quinn wants the Falcon job.

Ryan wanted more personnel power than Blank wants to give a HC...they supposedly liked Bowles as well but Quinn interviewed better...whatever that means.

Some rumors continue about Josh McDaniels...If the current pattern is any indication...the Falcons want a defensive minded HC that has strong ties to a solid DC.

As for the Bills, they're also a very stacked defensive-personnel team, and Rex is a polar opposite of Doug Marrone. I think he's going to do better with Buffalo than Bowles will with the Jests (no, I didn't misspell that...)
