I think this kid could surprise some people. He had a 2.2 WAR with San Francisco in 2003 and showed some grittiness in the 2004 campaign, going 10-7 without that much support
This 32 year old, 240 pound kid did that 10 years ago? This guy is not very good if you look at his 10 year mlb record with a half dozen teams.
OK. Amaro is top 10. I know. He came cheap. And we are hard up at this point. I'd rather have some young guy from the farm be given a shot.
