Should he stay or go? Seems to be point of interest after his twitter comments. Does he lose respect and or commitment from his players?

JDR didn't do say anything that shouldn't have been asked. If you want to investigate the Jan. 6 riot then investigate all the other riots too. People are such pussies these days.

There you go chill .... we don't all have to agree but he has a right to his opinion. I don't see a reason he has to lose his job over it.

I think the saddest part of what happened on Jan. 6 was that the police had several days advance warning and did not staff in a way that this could have been stopped.

Players learn to compartmentalize, and like everyone living in this country, we do so routinely. JDR like so many others are getting royally paid off of the efforts of the players and MUST take great care in blurting out their honest feelings. I actually applaud him for a minor act of courage, completely wrong and off-target, but courageous nonetheless. Should he lose his job? No, but he has to understand that players putting his ignorant rantings into perspective, will respect the coach and have little regard for the man. I'll speak more about culture change at a later date.

There you go chill .... we don't all have to agree but he has a right to his opinion. I don't see a reason he has to lose his job over it.

The key is that he admitted that he was wrong. America would be a better place if all the fucking idiots on the right would finally admit they they were wrong about all of the stupid shit they lie about.

:heh::pound:

How’d I do?

You gave your opinion, which is what it is all about whether I agree or disagree. Still can't do it without name calling. Otherwise as I have always said .... everyone is entitled to their opinion.

You made me laugh though.

I agree, but I also want to be clearly about the fact that his position here has nothing to do with it. Any other DC, making the same idiotic comparison, wouldn't rise to a level that firing is the answer. That said, considering Roger Goodell's very public statement about the league's stance on the issues, I can see either a fine or suspension for JDR. (Perhaps both, but that would be an extension of the Washington franchise's stupid tax)
