gets his extension, which sounds like it wasnt record breaking. (which could be team friendly)

Hopefully & seemingly he might be molded in the Sean lee ways. (its not all about him)

Glad we got him extended.
Would have sucked to draft him injured, waited til he got better & to the high caliber level he is only to let him walk somewhere else. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders as well.

I read where the extension is not in the top 5 for his position. A win for the Cowboys Smith was a beast last season. Loved the vicious hits he put on Eli and the Texans QB last season. That TD return against the Bucs was impressive. He is fast AF

I won’t deny I had my doubts. And I’m glad he defied them. Not just as a Cowboys fan but as a fan of great sports stories and how they can impact others. He is the epitome of “inspiration”.

maybe when considering the year still left on the contract. which is on 2 mil in cap. but the extension itself is a 12.8 annual.
